Pre-Medicine

Pre-medicine is a yearlong course offered at LCTC.  This hands-on course will be taught by a Registered Nurse and will focus on anatomy and physiology, disease processes, medical terminology, professionalism, infection control and safety, vital signs, blood glucose monitoring, and injection skills. Certifications earned include BLS/CPR, First Aid, and Stop the Bleed.
